ROAD TRIP!
Feb 26th, 2008 by Wendy
To my family and friends: a little invite to come along on a journey. I’m calling it my snakeskin journey, manifested at this time in a road trip. The departure date is soon, as soon as taxes and IRS audit (grump) allows. Time for me to shed some skins, hopefully grow and learn a few things along the way.
And just a mild warning, I may say some things that shock you a bit, but then self-revelation can be like that. Feel free to drop off of this journey anytime you don’t like the direction it is heading. I am not editing this for you, Mom, or for you, my former priest, or for you, my children. These ramblings may be at times “unsuitable for children” so parents be forewarned. (Kate, my dear niece, you are welcome to read on as you will!) If at anytime this blog reads like a bog, then drop off and we don’t even have to suffer the pain of the breakup since you can come and go as you please without me needing to know. Connect if you like and I will love you for it…I promise not to post any secrets but my own–YOU are safe. That’s it for the ground rules. Oh, and besides posting comments for the rest to read (please do if you like), I have an email associated with this site: wendy@snakeskinjourney.com (how clever)

I’m with you sister!
You go girl. Tell all on your journey. I wish you the best of luck.
p.s. “I am so jealous.”
Thanks for not posting anybody else’s secrets. Have a good trip!
Dearest Aunt Wendy,
I am so interested to read about your snakeskin journey as you go along. It sounds like the perfect thing for you right now. Thank you for sharing this process with all of us who love you so much!
Love,
Nessa

Hi Wendy, Hope this works. I still can’t find a place where it says “Post Comments”. And now if this shows up, everyone will know what a really terrible tech person I am.
Love, Mom
